The Trent InternationalE School Basketball Academy

The Trent InternationalE School Basketball Academy is the first of its kind in the state of Texas. Our academy offers students who want to play basketball an opportunity to participate in intense basketball training and development programs. These programs help the players improve their basketball skills, physical and mental conditioning, strength and speed. This, in combination with Explosive Training, delivers a program designed to not only help those who are already familiar with the game, but also those who have never played the game before.

Since its founding in 1993, Trent InternationalE Schoolhas been a leader in “constructivism”, a teaching methodology that implements the tenets of Ms. Reeya’s vision for the school. This allows athletes enrolled    in competitive sports to meet the demands of Trent’s rigorous academic standards. Students gain advantage by participating in a program that works with their individual needs to best utilize their natural talents in the most efficient way.

This is achieved by individualizing their curriculum and schedules. Trent continues to innovate and incorporate tools, techniques and technologies to prepare students for life in the 21st Century.

 By combining the world’s best traditional teaching techniques, creative tools and modern, relevant information, Trent has composed a well balanced, comprehensive way to bring Eastern methodology and Western innovation together. Trent graduates are capable of contributing to discussions of intellectual topics with accuracy and eloquence; behaving with dignity and poise; displaying the necessary tools for becoming true leaders.

The fusion between the academics of Trent InternationalE School and the basketball program provides a platform to showcase the talents of our high school athletes. Trent InternationalE School has been a pioneer in the education field for over 16 years and now boasts of an excellent athletic program.

Although we are training our students to become elite, competitive athletes, our main focus is the individual development of the student . We achieve this through a very sound individualized academic program and a comprehensive athletic program. We are committed to the belief that we must prepare our high school students to be well rounded, well educated, goal oriented young men and women who will not only contribute in a positive way to their own lives, but also to their community and the world at large. Trent's main focus is on helping our student athletes carve a path to a viable career whether or not they go on to playing professional sports.

At Trent the athletes work with professional coaches who have trained many NBA players, international and college players. They go through rigorous training to develop and improve both team as well as individual skills. Explosive Training is an important part of the program. Along with their physical training, Trent athletes, participate in a program that ensures the student's success through not only physical conditioning, but mental conditioning as well.

Trent Basketball teams play in many top level tournaments locally and nationally. This gives them visibility and serves as a platform to showcase their talent. College coaches and scouts attend their games, training sessions and workout on a regular basis and follow our players closely. Past and present NBA players serve as mentors.
